The marinatraveltours.com website only uses technical cookies strictly necessary for the site to work (language preference, session).

6. Weather, lateness and no-show

Weather conditions

For safety reasons, some trips may be cancelled in strong wind and/or rough sea. These decisions are based on the actual conditions observed at departure time and may be taken at the last minute. A new date or a full refund will be offered.

Customer lateness

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure time. Any delay of more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time may result in losing the trip without refund, as the boat cannot wait longer without penalising the other participants.

No-show

In the event of an unannounced absence, no compensation or rescheduling can be granted.

Once at sea

Once the boat has left the harbour, we will not return before the end of the excursion. The excursion will not be cancelled if a participant on board suffers from seasickness.

7. Liability and medical restrictions

Insurance

Marina Travel Tours holds professional liability insurance for its activity.

Safety on board

Wearing a life jacket is mandatory for children and for any non-swimming participant. The crew's safety instructions must be strictly followed.

Medical contraindications

Sea excursions are not recommended for people with:

  • pregnancy (especially beyond the first trimester);
  • unstabilised heart or blood pressure conditions;
  • significant back or neck problems;
  • a history of epilepsy;
  • severe, uncontrolled seasickness.

Snorkeling also requires being able to swim or accepting to wear a life jacket.

Prior declaration

The customer undertakes to inform the crew of any medical condition likely to affect their safety before boarding. Marina Travel Tours declines all liability if medical information is withheld and leads to an incident on board.

8. Conditions for children

Children are welcome on board, under the full responsibility of a parent or accompanying adult present during the excursion.

Recommended ages per activity

  • Snorkeling: from 4 years old, up to 10 years old for the child rate.
  • Whale watching: recommended from 4 years old (long and sometimes rough sea trip, not well suited to very young children).
  • Taxi boat: open to all ages.

Equipment

Child-sized life jackets are provided on board and must be worn throughout the excursion. We recommend bringing a cap, sunscreen and light clothing to protect from the wind at sea.

Parental responsibility

Supervision of children remains the responsibility of parents or accompanying adults. The crew ensures the general safety of the trip but cannot replace parental vigilance.
